In December 09, the WLCG Management Board asked the WLCG Technical Forum (TF) to provide recommendations on the use of multi-user pilot jobs, in particular on the deployment and configuration of glexec and its usage by the experiment frameworks.
A working group in the TF has resulted in a document that describes what pilot jobs are, their benefits, disadvantages and other aspects that sites and experiments may need to be aware of.
