The LCG-France project was launched in 2004 by High Energy actors : IN2P3 (CNRS) and DAPNIA (CEA-DSM) in order to provide a funded Tier-1 centre and an Analysis facility in Lyon's Computer Centre supporting the 4 LHC experiments.
